San Pedro Sula, is the
second largest city in Honduras. Only Tegucigalpa has more people. San
Pedro Sula lies north of the Chamelecon River. The city is a center of
manufacturing and trade. The city's industries include brewing, sugar
milling, and the manufacture of candles, cigarettes, clothing, concrete,
margarine, plastics, shoes, soap, steel, and textiles.
