Stratovolcano with
an elevation of approximately 2130 m over sea level. With respect to its
relief and general symmetry it is the most impressive volcano of El Salvador.
Located 15 km Southeast of the city of San Miguel (population ~300,000),
which is the center of commercial activity of the eastern half of El Salvador.
